Tech-Orion Kitchen & Bath Solutions is operated by Tech-Orion Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you request a free kitchen or bathroom quote visit on our website, how we use it, and your choices. We handle personal information in line with Canada's PIPEDA and applicable Ontario law.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details: first and last name, email address, phone number.
- Project location: street address, city and postal code of the property.
- Project details you give us in the quick survey (for example, type of work, timing, budget range).
- Appointment details: the date and time you choose for your quote visit.
- Technical data such as browser type, device, and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar tools, including advertising pixels.
- Your text-message consent choice and the time you gave it.
2. How we use it
- To book your quote visit and send confirmations and reminders by email and text message.
- To match your request with a local, independent contractor and share your details with that contractor so they can contact you and visit your home.
- To follow up about your request and to improve our service and advertising.
- To meet legal obligations and prevent fraud or misuse.
3. Who we share it with
We share your name, contact details, address, project details and appointment time with the independent contractor assigned to your visit. We also use service providers that help us run the website, scheduling, messaging, email and advertising (for example, hosting, calendar, and messaging platforms and Meta for ad measurement). They may only use your information to provide services to us.
We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information (including your phone number and text-message consent) is shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is shared only with your assigned contractor so they can arrange and carry out your visit.
4. Text messages
If you check the consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Tech-Orion Kitchen & Bath Solutions about your quote request and appointment. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of requesting a quote. You can still continue if the box is unchecked.
5. Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta pixel, to understand how visitors use our site and how our ads perform. You can control cookies in your browser settings and adjust ad preferences in your Meta account.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to answer questions about your request, and as required by law. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see section 8).
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and restricted access, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent to messages or to sharing, by contacting us at support@tech-orion.com or +1 647-691-6552. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to complete your visit booking. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
9. Children
Our service is for adults who own or manage a property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
